The poem “Common Cold” by Ogden Nash is a comical poem. In the poem, the poet falls sick and when the doctor sees him he finds that he is only suffering from cold. It is because of this reason that he decides not to pay him. The doctor only came and looked him and stated that he was suffering only from cold. The poet finds this very disappointing because there is no one who can understand his pain and suffering.
