The poem Homeless echoes the thoughts of a person who is homeless and does not have a place to stay. He envies people who have a roof over their head and can rest peacefully in their homes without having to depend on other people to offer shelter unlike the person in the poem. He wishes for a place for himself from where he will never have to move and sleep peacefully at night. A person who is homeless is also jealous of people who can stay at one place as he cannot do so.
