- This is a funny little poem written by Heinrich Hoffman, which deals with a Kid named Johnny who walking carelessly in his town.
- The kid on his way sees the splendid bright sun, enjoys its warmth and upon seeing the bright sky he gets a sight of a flock of swallows, spreading its wings and happily flying.
- He continues to see all the other beauty which is in nature, with a notebook in his hand.
- Although he was walking in the road, he had his thought somewhere and was never concentrating on his way.
- When he was almost near the banks of the river, he lost his balance and fell down in the deep river. The fishes in the river frightened and ran away. Luckily he was saved by the people around him. The fishes returned and teased him for falling down and losing his notebook in the steam of river.
- Moral: Concentrate on what you do now. One job at a time.
