The poem "Nest Eggs" written by Robert Louis Stevenson is based upon growing up, and yearning for adventure. All of Stevenson's poems follow a theme of imagination, adventure, and dreaming. I think that this poem relates to adventure and dreaming, because it discusses the small birds and how they become older and stronger and soon they will be able to leave their nest and soar in the sky. This poem relates to everyone, because most people have a time in their life where they want to achieve something so badly and when they can they are buoyant and excited just like the birds are when they are finally strong enough to leave the nest.
