Explanation:

In the poem "Seasons of life", the poet, Joseph Anderson, tries to portray the cycle of life. In the first stanza, he lets the readers know that our lives are a mixture of both good and bad things. Our lives must face the eventual cycle of life like the fours seasons.

In the remaining stanzas, the poet illustrates life cycles with the seasons of the earth. He says that spring portrays a life of youth. It is where each one of us start our life's journey. The summer season signify adulthood. It is the time of our lives when we face marriage, children and success.

Then the autumn season represent the age of late adulthood or early old age.  It is time when we get old and our children become adults. Finally, the poet present winter season as they time we have to face our eventual death.

The poem presents a humble picture of life's cycle. It helps us to cherish every moment with joy and happiness as we are all nearing to our fateful death.
