summary of the poem spring quiet
Answers
The poet is cheered at the sight of the Spring season after a long Winter.
She wants to go and hide among the whitehorn plants and holy-bush where birds such as thrush and robin sing.
The bare trees are now overgrown by new leaves and twigs. The trees are full of scents.
There is a green house above which the branches of the trees are arching high.
Even the soft breeze carries a soothing scent.
The trees and the birds welcome the poet. They say, “We do not intend to trap you. Welcome, to our world. Rest here, peacefully, without any fear.”
They say, “Stay here, near this clear river and moss laden stones. The shade here is the darkest because the Sun rarely shines here.”
“If you can listen, there is the sound of the waves from a distant sea.
