in this poem the poet is describing about two of his situations. he says that once he was badly injured and wanted help then a rich man passes by and offers him some money and bread to eat and simply goes away. the man says thanks to the rich man. again after some time a poor man passes by, and this case was a bit different from that of the rich man. this time, the man doesn't help him financially. he feels pity for the injured person and gives him all his love, affection and care. so at last the man says that he could return the favor of the rich man by returning him his amount but how could he return that love and care that the poor man gave him.
