The poem mainly refers to the love and celebration which is built and felt between the mughal emperor and his wife.
It is distantly related to Shelly's poem of Ozymandias which discusses about the temperary nature of things and transience of life.
Tagore asks the readers to keep in mind that nothing lasts forever and thus, rejoice in what we have in present.
