Heya mate here is your answer :
The poem "The heart of the tree" is a poem by Henry Berner. It's undoubtedly a wake up call for the human race in the wake of growing population, environmental pollution and global warming offlet. The poem is relevant to the toll of urbanisation on the environment. The ever growing pollution of the environment is causing a lot of diseases and disorders in the body, including nasal and lungs problem. But due to trees, oxygen is released, shade is provided, merriment is made ;etc. So, we should protect our trees in order to conserve the nature and do lots of afforestation. Thus the poet highlights the theme of saving the nature and environmental awareness in the poem.
Hope it helps you mate.
Regards !!!
