the poem the last written by Mary tallmountain. this poem is very unique because it is a combined nature and the grim of the city. it describe a woman who know this wolf and can understand him. the wolf is the last left of Eid kind and when the old way into the room where the woman is awaiting she say yes "I know what they have done". this implies that something has the others wolves . the wolf feel pessimistic and whole out while he is running through the city to towards the women.

this woman is the only thing that the wolf had left and complicated to come back to her and express his grief . this poem could be about the destruction of the wolf and it creatures. it could be a from intention of a time when the city of the world over run by wildlife and people no longer appreciate the world beauty and kill of all the old age in their fight for survival in a decision you doomed the world.

this poet use imagining image in describing the crumbling city and the emotion on the wolf face. she break her poem a part of line by line in order to create a more dramatic effect , this emphasize the line in certain extent and create a body to her poem , conclusion where we understand suffering
