Juliet Wilson laments in her poem laments the loss of cranes which she saw dancing in the fields earlier. She is grieved at the sight of the other type of crane used for building cities. Now the cranes can be used only in the unclear video footage with fading voice. People marvel looking at them that such beautiful bird existed once. However, the poet tries to sensitize the reader about the endangered bird.
