“The People Upstairs” is a famous work of comedy and reality written by Ogden Nash. In the poem, he describes how frustrated one can be with neighbours who would be loud and disturbing. If you can hear everything that your neighbours do, where will you peace go? You would feel like there is a lot of mess going around with you. He humorously describes his loud and disturbing neighbours. This poem is so famous because of relativity and humour. People who have neighbours can easily get connected to the script of the poem. And people who don’t have neighbours will be very glad that they don’t have neighbours close by and they will definitely want their lives to be as simple and peaceful and they will want to maintain the same distance with people.

Answer:

The people upstairs by ogden nash is a joyful poem in which the poet elaborate the lifestyle of his neighbours who stay upstairs. The noisy behavior and joyous lifestyle is good to see but it disturbs the poet at the same time.

The extreme noisy appearance of the neighbours is reflected in the poem in an interesting manner.  He tells how they enjoy their life and forget that another family may feel disturbed by them.
