This poem is written by Aurobindo. This poem clearly depicts the present scenario of the society in which the poor are thrashed by the rich. The rich people only fulfil their selfish needs but give no importance to the feelings of the poor people and the rich don't even feel sorry for even murdering poor people for their self importance.
Similarly in the poem the strong and powerful tiger kills the poor deer without even thinking anything but to satisfy his hunger.
