The poem 'Tigers' by Keki N. Daruwalla highlights challenges the notion of people who associate the tiger with its violent and ferocious nature. Man is influenced by his moods and Tiger is also not an exception as its mood is influenced by its meals; The poet portrays a different picture of the tiger wherein he is harmless and just wants to relax. It can be so harmless that man can scratch his back, i.e. can befriend him.
