Two artists, Johnsy and Sue, share an apartments. Johnsy contracts pneumonia, and she loses hope for life. She says that she will die when the last leaf on the vine outside falls. Mr. Behrman, one of their neighbors, hears about this, and he paints a leaf on the wall outside to give her hope. He dies on pneumonia in order to do this for her.

there are two friends Jhonshy and sue . one time Jhonshy has pneumonia and she will not becoming fine then doctor said she has no desire to live . she said that when the last leaf fall down she will die but his neighbour bherman is a painter so he made last leaf on his window in rainy season . so he fall ill and he died. when sue told her about bherman she fell bad and now she has deep desire to live
