Summary of Vitamin M, by Asha Nehemiah:

• This story is about Ravi and his Grandpa who has a problem with short-term memory loss.

• At the start of the story, Ravi's mother talks about a Vitamin M that should be created for old people to make their memory sharp again. To this Ravi warns her as his Grandpa might listen.

• We get to know how Ravi's Grandpa has had a hard time due to the problem with his memory by his mother.

• After that Ravi's mother leaves them both in the house and tells Ravi to look after his Grandpa and not to let him out of the house on his own.

• Both agree to play chess but Grandpa tells Ravi to let him take a troll alone, which Ravi could not deny as he felt sorry for him. But instead, he follows him everywhere he goes and deals with a great deal of embarrassment too while trying to hide in public places to avoid his Grandpa's attention.

• But Ravi loses the track of him when he gets on a bus only to realize that the man he followed into the bus was someone else whom his Grandpa has given his hat to.
• He returns home to find his Grandpa snoring and sleeping and feels relieved.

• The end of the story is all more funnier where his Grandpa gives gifts to everyone and tells Ravi's mother to take some "Vitamin M" for her memory as she had forgotten his birthday.

• He also gifts Ravi 'Best Detective Stories' and tells him he can be a better detective if he reads the book and also that he won't be fooled the next time when he is someone, subtly suggesting he knew all this time that Ravi was following him.
