Explanation:

In this poem, the poet asks the tiger questions regarding his life as an animal.
He asks him the reasons and cause of his endangerment.
Even though the tiger is a fierce animal by nature he hunts and preys.
But the poet portrays him soft natured and explains how the harshness of humans have destroyed this beautiful species.
He elaborates that mankind needs to gain consciousness from greed to take care of wild animals.
