Two states by Chetan Bhagat is story of Punjabi IIT Guy Krish who is from Delhi and Ananya a Topper and pretty girl from Chennai .Ananya had huge fan following as she topped in her look and personality and rewarded as best girl of fresher batch .The story begins in IIM Ahemadabad Mess Hall where Ananya was girl quarreling with mess staff about the mess food .They shared lunch together and soon became friend and decide to study together every night. After two years,they developed deep love for each other but never confessed to each other. But Ananya was seriously inclining towards marriage .On college ending days they both decided to crack interviews of companies .Krish had to face intense interview but he made up to grab the job easily but he made up to grab the job easily but he couldn't concentrated which leads up to propose Ananya says Yes to him and they both get into making their family for marriage.Krish had opted job at Chennai the place where Ananya's family lives. He started to coach for IIT JEE to Ananya's brother compramising sleep and working hours at office but he couldn't achieve attraction from his in laws.He tried more and helped Ananya's father in making in his company presentation and showcase the talent of his mother in law in Karnataka Music at his office eminent event .This was completely total surprize to Ananyas family .At last day in Chennai he offered gift as gold rings to Ananyas family as their mark for acceptance to marriage of Ananya and Krish .Ananya's family accepted marriage. Now its time for Krish family .They both left for Delhi where Ananya met Krish mother where she said that Krish should not marry Tamilian girl but end with agreeing with his cousin to get marry and succeded to do so .Krish had hatrate on his father.He never shared his feeling or dosent shared harmonious bonding with him .Now as they have convenced to both of their parents .They planned to introduce each others parent Ananya and Krish planned Goa trip for his parent that was complete disaster .There was huge battle among the parents due to which Ananya broke up .Krish signed into deep depression and trying to patch up but nothing worked .His father secretively went to Chennai to sort out everything .Ananya informed about this happily .They both rejoyes the marriage plan .
