Answer :

The lyric originates from Hardy's memory of a these three days in his life. Albeit nothing is referenced in the lyric about any of this, clearly the artist is very energized and upbeat about his outing.

The peruser discovers that the excursion will cover around 100 miles via train. At first, the lovely speaker was forlorn, most likely fearing his time far from home and his solaces. Then again, no soothsayer or entertainer could have anticipated what might occur while he was there. The speaker can barely accept what happened himself.

Never telling what transpired, the peruser is completely mindful this was a great occasion in the graceful speaker's life. Notwithstanding, he doesn't account for himself. Note that Lyonnesse is referenced twice in each stanza. This advances the possibility of the time he spent on this trek was more than genuine, potentially eminent .
