• In this extract the significance of Rangoli has been exhibited and how women of our country enjoyed making it.
• During the festivals, the women would make Rangolis which were very colorful and vibrant and it indicates that the guests were welcome and the home were prepared for them.
• But it was a matter of past. The saddest part now is that modern women have no time left for these customs and traditions and they are fading away with the time.
• Rangoli was in the previous times made on a frequent basis but now it is reserved only for special festive occasions.
