Machines are useful in farming and manufacturing. Tractors and harvesting machines have reduced the work of the farmer. It also increased agricultural production, leading to a reduction in the prices of farm products. Machines bring accuracy and speed in the work. It is beneficial to fulfill new demands of increasing population. But machines have their disadvantages too. India is a heavily populated country, where labour is cheap. Machines may have saved our time and labour, but they have also led to unemployment. Many people have been displaced by the introduction of machines, and have become unhappy and frustrated. There is rise in anti-social behaviour.​
Machines were made to serve man, but now they have apparently become his masters. They take out the pleasure of creation and make the work monotonous. With the help of machines, mankind has been exploiting natural resources at an alarming rate. Thus, like all modern inventions, machines have both advantages as well as disadvantages. But the advantages are certainly greater, and it is up to mankind to use the machines wisely and try to minimize the disadvantages.

It causes harms like frustration, unhappiness, anti-social nature, exploitation of natural resources.etc. It is advisable to not let the machines made to be controlled , control the mankind. Wise use of machines can surely minimize disadvantages.
