The Sun rises in the east (far arrow), culminates in thesouth (to the right) while moving to the right, and sets in the west (near arrow). Both rise and set positions are displaced towards the northin midsummer and the southin midwinter. In the Southern Hemisphere, south is to the left.

Answer is North-East direction.
Explanation of the topic:
We generally know that Sun rises in the East and sets in the West direction. But, in reality, there is slight change in the direction of the sun rise and it varies with different circles, seasons and hemispheres of the Earth.
During the hot summer season (in the months of May, June and July), below observations are seen.
In the Northern hemisphere, the Sun rise is noticed in the North-Eastern direction and then the Sun set is noticed in the North-Western direction.
Similarly, in the Southern hemisphere, the Sun rises in South-East and sets in South-West.
Vice-versa occurs in the Winter Season.
