Summer Vacation Essay

Summer vacation or summer holiday is a two or three months long vacation given in schools and colleges after the annual exams. Summer vacation usually falls in the months of March-April and is a most awaited and loved event for the students. It provides sufficient leisure time to the students after a yearlong hard work and studies. Students make plans on how to spend their vacations with family and friends. Some prefer playing games, either indoor or outdoor; some want to read comic books while others long to travel to a distant place with family. There are also some studious ones who prefer to study for their upcoming standard. Whatever, you want, you can do in vacation. It’s your time, either spend it in leisure or hard work, it’s your choice.

in my country, the summer vacations start around May or mid-May and end around the starting of June. The children who come from far get some rest because they don’t have to come to school for those few days and spend time with their family. Teachers don’t fail to assign some minimal homework so that the students don’t completely get detached from their studies. Kids are encouraged to go out and play in the evenings and read more books and watch cartoons with a little restriction. Teachers don’t fail to ask students to describe how they spent their holidays once they meet again after school reopens.
