Summers are becoming hotter with each passing year. Write a description of one such very hot day what did you see and hear as you walked outside? How were birds and animals affected?

Description of a tired day faced by me .

Temperature reached 42° and it was terribly hot . I didn't know this , so i made my way to my friends house to enjoy summer .

I wanted to go a scooty but it was hot...so I decided to go by foot . Just after 10 steps I felt thirsty . I wanted some water to quench my thirst but I didn't have my my wallet .So I asked some water in a near by house . God's grace they we're kind and generous ...they gave me water.

Again I started walking towards my friends house and I found clear sky and I wondered why... because everyday it used to be beautiful and charming with colourful birds flying.

Usually the roads would be filled with dogs , cats , goats wandering here and there but now I couldn't find atleast one dog on the road .

I realised that being a human I couldn't tolerate it then how can birds and animals tolerate it..

Finally I reached my friends house and I found my friend feeding birds...this epic scene made my heart Happy..

God blessed us with voice to express our feelings but birds and animals can't...so we must understand their feelings and make an effort to save them.

Glad if helped.

A day to Remember....

the sun was already high in the sky and blazing when I woke up little after 6:30 a.m. It was a day in midday Halfway through summer and it had lost rained in early April

so we were facing near drought conditions.

On my way to school, I saw that most Ponds had dried up . I was cycling and drenched in sweat by the time I reach School .

By midmorning the temperature had soared above 40 degree centigrade. During recess, the playground was empty , there were long queues before drinking water taps and many pupils chose to stay behind in the classroom under the fans . Even the teachers did not have the heart to drive them out in the second half , it was so stifing that the teacher seemed to have become as uninterested in the lessons as we were . some of my classmates actually put down their heads and went to sleep .

When the school closed for the day, the sun was so hot, it hurt the eyes and a blistering when was blowing. I wrapped a wet towel around my head and face before setting of homewords to avail of a bit natural air conditioning . The road were almost deserted and the only creatures I saw were a few Street Dogs fanting for breadth and some very tired looking cows dozing In The Shade of trees . I parched open lands looking like a desert and their were Mirages dancing on the road. My house is only a 15 minute ride but I was exhausted when I arrived .The mango juice straight out of the fridge when my mum gave me was a lifesaver .The water was so warm that the bath was hardly any comfort . I fell into a fitful sleep that lasted an hour and a half. At 5:00 in the evening when I went out to play football ,clouds were gathering in the sky . Soon there was rumbling of thunder and flashes and lightning followed by a violent dust storm. Then the rain came first in Big Fat Worm drops and then in a torrential down fall . It lasted barely half an hour but brought a miraculous change for the better. All nature seem to be rejoicing.Unfortunately there was a power cut so I had to sit down to study swatting mosquitoes I was signed full that I could after a long time look forward for a good night sleep .
