Summers are becoming hotter with each passing year. This could be because of factors like global warming, pollution, etc.

It was a bright Saturday. The whole day was quite hot. Not being able to go for a walk during the day, I decided to go out at 3:30 p.m. I was on a casual walk down the street. As I started my walk, I found a baby cat dead by the gate. Probably, it should have been due to sunstroke. As I passed by, I could hear a screech of a small bird. I tried to save the bird by offering some water, but it was already late. The children coming out of the school gate seemed dehydrated and lifeless.

As I walked into a national park, I found no animals walking about in the fresh air. The guard had told me that, many animals are sick, and a few dead. I had no choice, but to walk out if the deserted park. All the grocery stores which were once bright were closed. The city seemed like a graveyard with no life.

I came back home dehydrated and depressingly empty. I wished and hoped for better days.

Answer:

I stepped out of the house around 5 PM in the evening on a hot and sunny day and was immediately hit by a strong heat wave which showed me how hotter the summers are becoming with each passing year.

While walking down the road, I saw how stray dogs or shelter less people were struggling without shelter and water to save themselves from the heat.

Old people and animals were dying due to heat strokes every day.
