Casabianca is a poem based on a true story by the poet Felicia Dorothea Hemans its is based on a young boy named Casabianca who had perished on a burning deck. the opening lines of the poem "the boy who stood on the burning", Casabianca was described as Brave and a heroic creature he had stood on the deck where his father had told him to after their ship had caught on fire because of being attacked by other sailors. The father had died fighting but Casabianca had not known so he asked again and again if he could leave but his father laid dead and silent the fire kept growing until it had covered the entire ship till the boat had finally clasped and Casabianca had died Bravely.
