Answer:

The poem, "The Sailor" by Rabindranath Tagore is about a young boy's dream of sailing to far-off lands, across the seven seas and thirteen rivers of fairyland.

He imagines himself as the prince of a story and takes his friend Ashu with him on this adventure. He imagines setting sail in the early morning light and coming back in the evening when it is getting dark.

Along the way, they will pass the ford of Tirpurni and the desert of Tepantar, and the narrator promises to tell his mother all that they have seen.

The poem is a vivid exploration of the narrator's imagination, which is fueled by his desire to explore the unknown.

He is determined to make his dream a reality and knows that his mother will support him, even if he is going away for a long time. The poem is a beautiful and hopeful invocation of the power of dreams and the courage to pursue them.
