Long ago in a forest lived a mighty lion. One day he was enjoying his mid day nap after a heavy meal. At that time a little mouse was playing by. Now accidentally, as we might call it, the poor little creature got into one of the nostrils of the Leo. The sleep of the jungle king was broken and he got furious. As soon as he sighted the tiny creature, he shouted, "How dare you break my sleep! "The mouse trembled and thought his dooms day had come. Now the lion further thundered, "Prepare to die! The mouse folded his hands and said, "O king! Please spare my life this time and I promise to pay you back soon. "The lion could not help laughing. And the great beast took pity on the little one and let him go. Before long, one day the lion was ensnared by some hunters. The rope of the net was so strong that he could not tear it apart. He now thought, his end was near. He roared in anguish. Now, the same mouse heard his roar and he scampered to the spot and saw the imperiled Lion King.
