All herbivores depends on plants.
All carnivores depends on herbivores.
All omnivores depends on plants or herbivores or sometimes carnivores.

From above 3 statements it’s clear that all animals are directly or indirectly depends on plants.
Plants depends on sunlight for photosynthesis.
If Sunlight stops falling on earth then plants will die. Gradually all animals on planet earth will die.
Hence Sun is the ultimate source of energy.

the sun is the ultimate source energy for all living things.

●autotrophs or are the producers of our ecosystem absorbs sun rays during photosynthesis and prepare food.

●herbivores who are the primary conumers eat plants and gain energy.

●humans who r the secomdary consumers or sometimes tertiary consumers eat plants and animals to gain energy.

●decomposers act on dead and decaying organic matter to release CO2 and produce heat energy....this cycle continues. man even uses the sun's energy to generate hydroelectricity or used in solar panels
and it follows.
hence we see that sun control the energy cycle and is hence the ultimate source of energy on the earth.

hope it helps
