Sunday morning a street vendor knocks on your door and claims to sell pure pashmina shawls for a very cheap price. how would you find out whether the shawl is made of pure wool or not?

1)By touching it , because pashmina wool is so soft , very fine and smooth to touch it .

2)Original pashmina gives a burnt smell.

3)Genuine Pashmina is not transparent.

some simple ways to know if your Pashmina is a genuine one are :-

  • Genuine pashmina will leave a burnt hair smell and there'll be some powdery residue behind.

  • If it's a synthetic fibre, you may smell burnt leaves and it will burn more brightly and leave a small bump behind.
