productivity of Suneel  per day:  1/4
Productivity of Dinesh per day :  1/6
productivity of Ramesh per day:  1.5 * 1/4 = 3/8

Total productivity of all = 1/4 + 1/6 + 3/8  per day
           =   19/24

So all of them together will finish the complete work in 24/19 days.

ekalavyaachanta: sir how do u get 1/5 here
kvnmurty: one and half times means multiply with 1.5
kvnmurty: which class r u in ?
ekalavyaachanta: i'm preparing for bank exams sir..........i need ur guidance sir.non maths background sir
ekalavyaachanta: sir in my earlier question also u multiply 4/5 with 1/36 but i could not understand sir can u pls tell me the concept over there?
ekalavyaachanta: k now after seeing twice i understood sir
AcharyaVII: Do you really have doubts with these type of questions?
kvnmurty: These steps seem quite detailed and involve simple arithmetic.. One needs to read the question and see the answer. It will be easy to understand.

Suneel's 1 day's work=1/4
Dinesh's 1 day's work=1/6
Since Ramesh is 3/2 times faster than Dinesh,
Ramesh's 1 day's work=1/4*3/2=3/8
Working together, part of work done by them in 1 day=1/4+1/6+3/8
=(6+4+9)/24
=19/24.
Therefore they all will complete the work in 1/(19/24) days ,i.e.
24/19 days

kvnmurty: Ramesh is not 3/2 times faster than Suneel. That is not the correct way. Please see question. Ramesh is 3/2 times as fast as suneel.
