Total value of Sunil's property=Rs.90,000.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

Sunil gave 1/3 of his wealth to his wife and 2/5 to his son. If he now has ₹ 24000 left,

To find:-

Find the total value of his property.

Solution:-

Let total value of Sunil's property be Rs. X

Amount given to his wife=1/3 of X=X/3

Amount given to his son=2/5 of X=2X/5

Total amount given his wife and son

=>(X/3)+(2X/5)

LCM of 3 and 5=15

=>(5X+6X)/15

=>11X/15

Remaining amount =X-(11X/15)

=>(15X-11X)/15

=>4X/15

Given that He has remaining amount=24000

=>4X/15=24000

=>4X=24000×15

=>X=24000×15/4

=>X=6000×15

=>X=90000

Answer:-

Total value of Sunil's property=Rs.90,000.

Check:-

Amount given to his wife=90000/3=30000

Amount given to his son=90000×2/5

=>18000×2=36000

Total amount given his wife and Son

=>30000+36000=66000

Remaining amount=90000-66000=24000
