Solution:

Let the price of TV before GST was added is x

GST is 10% = 10x/100

=> x + 10x/100 =22000

=> (100x+10x)/100 =22000

=> 110x/100 = 22000

=> 110x = 2200000

=> x = 2200000/110

=> x = 20000

Hence, the price of the TV before GST was added is Rs 20000
