TO find:

The cost of the article in Assam

Solution:

Let the CP of the article in the Assam is 100 units

The given article is sold in Assam so the given price will include the rate of the igst as well.

So the SP of the article must be 118 units

here we have given the SP as ₹10000

so by the unitary method

• 118 units -------- ₹10000
• 1 unit ------------- ₹10000/118
• 100 unit ------------- ₹ 8474.58

so,

The cost of the article in Assam is ₹ 8474.58
