time between 7am to 3pm=8hour total1&half hour is comming & going thus the time spend at school =8-1.5=6.5 means 6hour & 30 minutes
i am sure it is right

12:00-7:00= 5hrs and 3hrs right side total= 8hrs but 45 min take in going and coming so total time spend in school=8hrs-45 min=7hrs 15 min
