given that,

→ Sunita purchase apples = (7/2) kg

and,

→ She purchased oranges = (5/4) kg .

so,

→ Total weight of fruits she purchased = Total weight of apples + Total weight of oranges = (7/2) + (5/4)

solving this by LCM method,

→ (7/2) + (5/4)

LCM of denominators is 4,

→ (7 * 2 + 5 * 1)/4

→ (14 + 5)/4

→ (19/4) kg . { or, 4(3/4) kg = 4.75 kg = 4 kg 750 gm .}

Hence, total weight of fruit purchased by her is equal to (19/4) kg .
