She was born in September 19 in U.S.

She was an American astronaut who set records on two flights to International Space Station.

In 1983 Williams entered U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland.  

She made an ensign in 1987 and reported for aviator training at Naval Aviation Training Command.  

In July 1989 she started to combat helicopter training.  

She flew in helicopter squadrons during preparations for Persian Gulf War and establishment of no-fly zones over Kurdish areas of Iraq and in relief missions during Hurricane Andrew in Miami.
