Total surface area of object =2(80*40+40*25+80*25)
=2(3200+1000+2000)
=2*6200
=12400
T. S. A=area of cloth
12400=h*90
H=12400/90
H=137.77

Dear student,

◆ Answer -

l = 13778 cm

● Explanation -

Total surface area of 1 suitcase is -

TSA = 2 (lb + lh + bh)

TSA = 2 (80×40 + 80×25 + 40×25)

TSA = 12400 cm^2

To cover one such suitcase, length of tarpaulin cloth required is -

x = 12400 / 90

x = 137.78

To cover such 100 suitcases, length of tarpaulin cloth required is -

l = 137.78 × 100

l = 13778 cm

Hence, total length of tarpaulin cloth required is 13778 cm.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
