hey friend here is your answer...

_______________________________

let, Ashima's age is =x

and Sunitha's age is =2x.

according to the question,

4(x-6) =(2x+4)

or, 4x-24=2x+4

or,2x=24+4=28

or, x=14

so Ashima is 14 Ayrs old
and Sunitha is 28 yrs old

Hi friend....
_________

Here's your answer....
_________________

Let the age of Ashima be x

so, the age of Sunitha is 2x

if 6 years is subtracted from Ashima's age
then the age will be (x-6) years

and, if 4 yrs is added to Sunitha's age
then the age will be (2x+4) yrs

now, according to the question,

4(x-6) = (2x+4)

or, 4x-24 = 2x+4

or, 4x-2x = 4+24

or, 2x = 28

or, x= 14

so, Ashima is 14 years old and Sunitha is (2×14) = 28 years old.
