Whenever something happens and a friendship, or any valuable time in my life ends I find myself sad. I find that I yearn for that time or person to come back to me, and I become so upset that I become a wreck. I trigger my panic attacks, making scenarios in my mind about what I could have done to keep that valuable thing in my life. But then, I look at my bathroom mirror in the midst of all my anxiety and read this quote, “Sunsets are proof that endings can be beautiful too…” My sister wrote this on my mirror for me once when she came home to visit, I read it whenever I am sad or feel lost and it reminds me that just because something has ended and I miss it does not mean my life has to turn upside down and messy; rather it means that my life has now opened a new door of opportunity for something beautiful to begin. This quote makes the tough times a little easier to handle, it reminds me every day that loss doesn’t mean I have to be lost, it just means there is now room in my life for a beautiful beginning.✍️✍️
