superlative degrees are those which are at the highest degrees or you can say that the words which you to describe any adjective and when you compare one from other,they are the degrees one of which is SUPERLATIVE,whereas positive degree is when you compare something that in a compliment or to compare.

• EX- You are very intelligent (positive)
• You are the most intelligent than anyone. (superlative)

There is one more degree which is known as comparative

Like,

• you are more intelligent than abc. (comparative)
