Let the angle be x°.
Supplement of x = (180-x)°

ATQ (According To Question)
(180-x) = \frac{1}{4}x
Multiplying both sides by 4.
(180-x) * 4 = \frac{1}{4}x * 4
4(180-x) = x
720 - 4x = x
Adding 4x to both sides.
720 - 4x + 4x = x + 4x
720 = 5x
Swapping sides.
5x = 720
Dividing both sides by 5.
 \frac{5x}{5} = \frac{720}{5}
x = 144

∴ The required angle is 144°.
Correct option is (c).

Hope this may help you.
