Supporters of using the atomic bomb at the end of World War II believed that B. Americans were tired of war and the US should end it quickly.

World War II

it was a war held at the global level between 1939-1945. It almost involved all of the countries and two opposing military powers were formed the Allies and the Axis.

The Allies and the Axis.

  • The Allies included France, Great Britain, the United States, the Soviet Union, and, to a lesser extent, China. The Axis included Germany, Italy, and Japan
  • The US was tired of the war and wanted to end it as soon as possible. hence, they thought that bombing japan would shorten the war.
  • As a result, the first bomb on 6 Aug 1945 fission bomb Little Man was dropped on Hiroshima, and on 9 Aug 1945 Fat man was dropped on Nagasaki, resulting in the victory of Allied victory.

Hence, WWII resulted in the Allied victory, but during the end of 1945 the atomic bomb blast, heat due to it, and the radiation had consumed the lives of an estimated 74,000 in Nagasaki and 140,000 in Hiroshima.
