given ,

2 kg of sugar contains = 9 × 106 crystals.

so, 1 kg of sugar contains =(9×106)÷ 2crystals.

= 477 crystals.

(i) 5kg of sugar contains = 477 × 5

= 2385 crystals.

(ii) 1.2 kg of sugar contains = 1.2 × 477

= 572.4 crystals.
