The answer to this question is option (d).

We know that force is the rate of change of momentum of a body. This can be mathematically be expressed as:

F= mv-mu /t

 = m(v-u)/t

If we transpose t to the left hand side, we get

Ft = m(v-u)

so option (d) is the correct answer.
