here when a person is carrying bucket to some distance, force is exerted to lift the bucket which is vertical, and displacement happened horizontally. so both are perpendicular i.e. 90°

so, W = F * S * cos 90

= 0 ( because cos 90 = 0)

so, there is no work done.
