g = Gm/r^2 on earth so on the given planet it will be

g' = G(2m)/(2r)^2

= 2Gm/4r^2

= Gm/2r^2

so g/g' = 2/1 so g = 2g' I.e. g' = 9.8/2

= 4.9 m/s^2
