a. In a democracy it is important to note , people are free to choose and vote for a particular party or  a candidate.
b. However, political leaders do use religious caste based sentiments to muster support.

elections are not based on the religious ground it's completely not related to any caste religious nd etc undemocratic bias according to democratic rules politics is completely related. to the action and correct management of the country or state of a political leader.
