Suppose a secular country wants to adopt a state religion, what would be the consequences?

If a secular country do so then there would be a fight as in every state there are diffrent religions. So all religions has right to stay.

there are many consequences which led to conflicts between different people living in the country and follow different religions.

suppose if one religion is adopted as state religion then the people of other religions do not like this and they may start revolutions and this led to wars and also led to bad economic background in that state or country. And also led to the destruction of democracy.
