suppose a swimming pool is filled with an imaginary liquid which is optically rarer than air. For a person looking at the pool from outside, will the apparent depth of the pool be less than or greater than the real depth? answer withal diagram ​

The apparent depth will be greater than the actual depth as this time the light ray will move away from the normal taking much more displacement to finally create a image which then due to reflection will be seen by us ! The whole reverse of what we see in actual pool !
